You Glow Girl: My Everyday Makeup

I don't wear makeup often but when I do i make sure to glow

location: Melrose

I don't where makeup everyday but when I do I makesure to keep it light and radiant. As much as I love makeup I am not a huge fan of wearing it everyday as I rather keep a clear clean complextion. When makeup is needed for photoshoot's, dinners, event's, & etc. I apply it. Skincare plays a large importance in prepping your skin for a flawless makeup canvas. It is important to have a day and night routine that you do religiously. When I wear makeup I am constantly grabbing for these products to create a luminious look.

1) Primer:

My skin is usually on the drier side, especially more than ever since I have been battling acne on Accutane. Due to the fact I like to use a more moisturizing primer. One that is used very often by almost every makeup artist who has touched my face is the Embryolisse Lait-Crème. This one does it all, it's a moisturizer, primer, face-mask & a makeup-remover. When I apply this is always goes on clear and smooth with no residue, prepping my skin for make-up application.

2) EyeShadow Primer:

I use the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer PotionI apply it to my fingers first and then blend it onto my eye creating a seamless canvas for eyeshadows. My eyeshadow never creases when wearing this.

3) Eyeshadow & Brows:

You can never have too many palletes of any sort especially eyeshadow. I have tons of eye shadows but I do usually like to stick to neutral shades. Right now I am loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette. The shades are super pigmented and go on with little to no fallout! For brows I like a natural shaped look and I get it with using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

4) Foundation:

Talk about glow? I always go for the Armani Women's Luminous Silk FoundationIt is lightweight and oil-free with coverage that is buildable. Recently I have also been a new fan of the Givenchy PhotoPerfexion Fluid Foundation SPF 20. This is the foundation I am wearing in the image above. I always love how smooth this foundation goes on and leaves me picture perfect all day.

5) Concealer:

As of now I have been using the Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape TapeA little bit goes a big way, so I have had the same tube for some time. If you are looking for quality that last, try this one.

6) Powder, Bronzer, Blush:

The smoother the better, at least that's what they say about your Brazilian. I use the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder to set all over and extra under my eyes and smile lines. The Benefit Cosmetics Hool is a universal bronzer. I have been using this one for years and have yet to get tired of it. It's great for all over color, contouring and even as eyeshadow. For blush I love a natural glow and I go in between both the Diorskin Rosy Glo & Chanel Powder Blush in Rose Bronze.

7) Lashes:

As for lashes I am not a fan of mascara at all. It is something that flakes off while you wear it leaving me with darker circles than I had before. Even once removing and showering, does that stuff just never come off? Occasianly I will use L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise lightly on my bottom lashes. Otherwise, I have been wearing lash extensions for quite some time now and if I could chose one thing to have in my routine it would be lash extensions. When I have lashes, I need nothing else. I can wakeup and walk out the door.

8) Setting Spray:

Some people aren't believers of setting spray and notice no difference but I do. I usually use the Urban Decay All Nighter and L'Oreal Infallible Makeup ExtenderBoth make my makeup last all day and minimize creasing. I use setting spray to refresh my face also.
